Celerity Mineral Corp Provides Update on 2024 Completed and Planned Exploration Activities
Celerity Mineral Corp (“Celerity”, “The company”)(Privately held corporation), is pleased to provide shareholders with an update on the recent advancements in its exploration activities at the Boulder Property copper project, located 16 miles northeast of Butte, Montana.
“Celerity Mineral is systematically completing all of the pivotal exploration and technical work to update and support the Boulder property’s potential as a world class size copper porphyry deposit. The completed and planned exploration places Celerity Mineral Corp as one of the most active companies in the junior copper mining sector.” Stated Corey Safran, President & CEO.
Magnetic survey
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has successfully completed its high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey that included complete coverage of the Boulder Property. USGS have shared the results of the magnetic survey with Celerity Mineral on a confidential basis and the findings will be instrumental in prioritizing targets for our planned drill program. The survey was funded by the USGS Earth Mapping Resource Initiative (EMRI) with the full data set and high-resolution maps soon to be released to the public in Q4 2024.
Subsequently, USGS has selected the Boulder Property to conduct additional work that will include detailed geophysics and ground-truthing measurements. The USGS additional work is expected to begin shortly.
Hyperspectral analysis
Montana Tech University (MTU) in partnership with the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG) continue their work on the hyperspectral survey on the historical drill core from the Boulder Property. The initial findings by MTU and MBMG on the drill core resulted in a poster presentation at recent geological conferences. The poster presentation’s findings were that the tested Celerity Mineral drill core was similar to porphyry style mineralization.
Mineral and fluid inclusion petrography study
The mineral and fluid inclusion study on historical drill holes and outcrop grab samples will measure quartz vein fluid inclusions with the goal to approximate determination of pressure, temperature, and depth of vein formation and characterization of the style of vein as it relates to a porphyry or epithermal system.
Geophysics survey
Celerity Mineral has engaged Quantec Geoscience to conduct a Titan DCIP and MT Survey on the Boulder Property. The Company and Quantec are currently finalizing the scope and timing of the planned survey.
Histroically, three geophyical surveys have been completed on the Boulder property, including a Quantec geophysics survey on the southern half of the Boulder Property in the 2000’s, which confirmed several high-priority zones with strong chargeability anomalies, potentially indicative of disseminated copper sulfide mineralization. The analysis of the consolidated GIS model of the previous three surveys indicate a blanket chargeability area of 15 milliradians or higher of 33 square kilometers.
Permitted drill program
Celerity has received the approvals of the Exploration License by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the Plan of Operations and Environment Assessment (EA) by the United States Forestry Service (USFS). Upon the completion of the magnetic survey, fluid inclusion work and geophysical survey, Celerity Mineral will begin the planning of an upcoming drill program. The drill program will focus on testing the highest-priority targets identified by the surveys, particularly the chargeability anomalies and structural features that correlate with copper mineralization potential.
“We are excited by the results of the surveys and look forward to further survey results as we advance the Boulder Property to the drilling stage. Our team has worked diligently in 2024 to refine our targets. We believe the completed exploration work will be a pivotal step toward unlocking the value of the project for our shareholders. We remain committed to delivering long-term value and advancing exploration in one of the most promising copper districts in Montana, USA.” Stated Corey Safran, President & CEO.
